If you would like to join any of the following walks, please book a place by contacting the walk leader directly using the contact details below.  If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for a walk without booking as we will have to turn you away.

We will only use contact information you provide to get in touch about the walk, or to share if requested with NHS Test and Trace.

Walk grades - 

Leisurely - for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. The walk may include unsurfaced rural paths.

Moderate - for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness. The walk may include some steep paths and open country and may be at a brisk pace.

Strenuous - for experienced country walkers with an above average fitness level. The walk may include hills and rough country and may be at a brisk pace. 

Walkers in doubt about their fitness are advised to contact the leader in advance.

For your own and others’ safety, please abide by the guidelines issued by the  walk leader. Although every care is taken planning walks, we can accept no liability and participation is entirely at your own risk. Please bring a packed lunch and drinks. Saturday 10th July 2021
Craven Ramblers' Rail Ramble

A choice of 2 walks (6 miles leisurely and 8 miles moderate) followed by a 2 course meal at the Moorcock Inn at Garsdale Head. 
Pre - booking is required and attendees must book for both walk and meal  via Andrew on 07730 718205 or

Catch the Carlisle train all stations from Leeds 7.48 (calls at Skipton 8.26) due to arrive at Garsdale at 9.21 to assemble for the walks.

The 2 course meal will be served around 14.15 at the Moorcock Inn, 
The meal includes either homemade Steak Pie or Vegetarian Pie followed by ginger sponge and custard.
£18  per person.
When booking on the walk please state your choice of meal.

On completion of the meal the intention is to leave the Moorcock Inn at around 15.30 to allow sufficient time to walk to Garsdale Station in order to catch the 15.59 train from Garsdale. This is due to arrive at Skipton at 16.54 and Leeds at 17.38.
